I’ve been a .NET coder since its inception. I usually spend my time with enterprise-type Web apps. ASNA AVR, C#, MVC, JavaScript, WCF, agile techniques, ORMs, and TDD/DDD currently have most of my attention. Ruby/Python/Perl percolate in the background. I’m also active in the System i (what was once called the AS/400) community.
I think I’m a pretty enlightened guy and try to pay attention to current techniques, advice, and models. But I also try to avoid getting religious about any of this stuff and letting the pursuit of the latest and greatest thing derail me. At the end of the day, the goal is a quality deliverable.
